Welcome to CCIso. By downloading, installing or using the CCIso software or this website, you agree to these terms. Please pay particular attention to the clauses in bold: they cover licence scope, limitation of liability and dispute resolution.
This English version is provided for convenience. If it differs from the Chinese version, the Chinese version prevails.
1. Operator
- Operator: [TBD: name of the entity or person]
- Email: [TBD]; other contact details are in the site footer
2. What CCIso is — and is not
- CCIso is application-level egress control software that runs on your own computer. It only decides which exit Claude’s processes use, blocks them when that exit is unavailable, and keeps exit credentials away from Claude’s processes.
- CCIso is not a VPN and does not provide, resell or recommend any exit service. Exits are supplied by you or your provider, who is responsible for their content, availability and compliance.
- CCIso is independent third-party software and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Anthropic. Claude, Claude Code and Anthropic are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC.
3. Licence
- CCIso is free: neither this site nor the app collects payments. Basic protection works without activation.
- Activation: full functionality is enabled with an activation code, one code per computer; the activation term is shown in the app.
- Activation codes are bound to install codes and may not be transferred, rented, lent or shared publicly, or used on more computers than licensed.
- Open-source parts: the fence core is released under the Apache-2.0 licence, and your rights in it are governed by that licence; third-party components shipped with the software are governed by their own licences. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under an open-source licence.
- Closed-source parts (the interface and the licensing module): except where the law expressly allows it, you may not reverse engineer them, crack them or bypass licence checks.
4. Prohibited uses
You may not use CCIso to:
- break laws or regulations, endanger network security or infringe the lawful rights of others;
- breach the terms or usage policies of third-party services you use, including Anthropic’s services;
- access other people’s computer systems or data without authorization;
- provide, resell or distribute exit services to others;
- distribute malware, or distribute modified copies of CCIso under its name.
If you breach this section, we may stop providing support and licence moves and pursue liability as permitted by law.
5. Activation and expiry
- CCIso is free and has no payment step in the app. In the app, open “Activate”, paste the activation code and tap “Activate” to enable full functionality.
- Activation codes are verified offline on your computer; no online check is needed after activation.
- Expiry: protection is never downgraded and the fence keeps working. After expiry there is a 14-day grace period; then in-app updates and new key-file imports stop, while an imported key keeps working until its own expiry. Reminders start 30 days before expiry, at most once a day.
6. Moving to another computer
Reinstalling the operating system or changing computers creates a new install code. 2 free licence moves are included per year, and the old activation code stops working immediately after a move. What happens beyond that is [TBD].
7. Fees
CCIso is free and collects no payments, so refunds do not apply. See the refund policy. Anyone charging money in CCIso’s name is unrelated to us.
8. How the service is provided
We provide updates and fixes, but do not guarantee that the software works on every computer or with every Claude version. Compatibility is documented in the changelog.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- CCIso is provided as is. We are not responsible for the availability of third-party exits or third-party services (including Claude), for the status of your accounts with third-party services, or for any outcome of using third-party services.
- CCIso is provided free of charge. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from using or being unable to use the software [to be confirmed by counsel].
- These limits do not apply to liability for personal injury, or for property damage caused intentionally or through our gross negligence, and do not affect any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Privacy
How we handle personal information is described in the privacy policy.
11. Intellectual property
The CCIso name, logo and the copyright in the closed-source parts belong to [TBD]. Other product names belong to their respective owners.
12. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we publish the new version here and tell you in the app. Changes that significantly disadvantage you are announced reasonably in advance. Continuing to use CCIso after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes arising from these terms are first settled through friendly negotiation; failing that, they go to the competent people’s court at [TBD: the operator’s domicile] [to be confirmed by counsel].
14. Contact
Email: [TBD]; other contact details are in the site footer.
