Changelog

CCIso for macOS is available; Windows and Linux are still planned. Each release lists its date, the Claude Code and Claude Desktop versions verified on a real machine, fixes and known limits.

0.1.7 Released

Release date
2026-11-05
Platforms
macOS (Apple silicon and Intel, macOS 13 or later); Windows / Linux planned
Compatible Claude Code
2.1.316
Compatible Claude Desktop
4.4212.0

Added

  • The environment is prepared before isolation starts: a Claude Code that was not installed officially (npm, brew, unsigned) is removed and replaced with the official latest release automatically, keeping the login, settings and sessions; isolation only starts once that is done, otherwise it stays off and says why.
  • The same in “Check”: a non-official Claude Code is found and replaced with the official latest release in one tap.

Fixed

None

Known limits

  • The process tree view is not available yet; it is planned.
  • Full local file-access isolation is not complete. Connection controls do not inspect content sent through an allowed connection.
  • Windows and Linux versions are not released yet.

0.1.6 Released

Release date
2026-11-05
Platforms
macOS (Apple silicon and Intel, macOS 13 or later); Windows / Linux planned
Compatible Claude Code
2.1.316
Compatible Claude Desktop
4.4212.0

Added

  • The check-up is now called “Check”; the blocked state reads “Channel down; Claude is disconnected”.

Fixed

  • Coexistence with Shadowrocket, Clash, v2rayN and similar apps in TUN / enhanced mode: they used to capture CCIso’s own connection to the channel server, leaving Claude blocked. CCIso now finds the real physical interface (Wi-Fi / Ethernet) and binds the channel to it, bypassing those apps; keep them running, nothing to change.
  • When the saved path fails to start, the next retry selects a path again instead of repeating the same one.

Known limits

  • The process tree view is not available yet; it is planned.
  • Full local file-access isolation is not complete. Connection controls do not inspect content sent through an allowed connection.
  • Windows and Linux versions are not released yet.

0.1.5 Released

Release date
2026-11-05
Platforms
macOS (Apple silicon and Intel, macOS 13 or later); Windows / Linux planned
Compatible Claude Code
2.1.316
Compatible Claude Desktop
4.4212.0

Fixed

  • If the channel could not be reached at startup (the Mac booted before the network, or the app restarted after an update), Claude stayed blocked until you clicked “Reconnect”. It now retries every 30 seconds and isolates again as soon as the channel is back.
  • The CCIso window opened automatically after install or update used the wrong user folder, so it looked unactivated and settings seemed lost. It now always uses the current user’s own folder.

Known limits

  • The process tree view is not available yet; it is planned.
  • Full local file-access isolation is not complete. Connection controls do not inspect content sent through an allowed connection.
  • Windows and Linux versions are not released yet.

0.1.4 Released

Release date
2026-11-05
Platforms
macOS (Apple silicon and Intel, macOS 13 or later); Windows / Linux planned
Compatible Claude Code
2.1.316
Compatible Claude Desktop
4.4212.0

Fixed

  • Update checks timed out on slow networks or behind proxy software: the network wait is now 30 s instead of 8 s, and a failed check retries after 1 hour instead of a day.
  • If this computer’s ID was stored in the Keychain as hex text it was treated as damaged and the activation was lost: it is now read as the same ID, so the activation stays valid.

Known limits

  • The process tree view is not available yet; it is planned.
  • Full local file-access isolation is not complete. Connection controls do not inspect content sent through an allowed connection.
  • Windows and Linux versions are not released yet.

0.1.3 Released

Release date
2026-11-05
Platforms
macOS (Apple silicon and Intel, macOS 13 or later); Windows / Linux planned
Compatible Claude Code
2.1.316
Compatible Claude Desktop
4.4212.0

Added

  • First public release: a macOS PKG installer, universal (Apple silicon and Intel), signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
  • Isolates every Claude program (Claude Code CLI, Claude Desktop, editor extensions, Remote Control) so its traffic leaves only through the one channel you choose. If the channel goes down, Claude is blocked instead of connecting directly.
  • Channels: your own SOCKS5 / HTTP address, a tunnel share link (hysteria2 / vless / vmess / trojan / ss), a plain WireGuard (wg-quick) file or a tunnel key file, with a Test connection button.
  • Health check and Clean, with isolation status and findings shown in the app.
  • Free, with no payments. An activation code turns on always-on protection, automatic updates and deep clean (encrypted backup first).

Fixed

None

Known limits

  • The process tree view is not available yet; it is planned.
  • Full local file-access isolation is not complete. Connection controls do not inspect content sent through an allowed connection.
  • Windows and Linux versions are not released yet.
